Studied natural sciences at ETH Zurich, dissertation and research in biochemistry. Since her childhood, Nadine Stähli has been fascinated by the diversity of nature and was repeatedly confronted with the global effects of climate change during her travels. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences at ETH Zurich and travelled to Indonesia for four months to support environmental protection projects on site. She gained her first experience in environmental education during her internship at the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site in Valais, where she focused on the effects of climate change in the Alpine region. She wrote her master’s thesis in northern Macedonia on the sustainable intensification of agriculture. Since August 2021, she has been accompanying the Climate Schools as project manager.
Ilona loves to be out and about in nature, and is particularly fascinated by the mountains. During her geography studies at the University of Zurich, Ilona learned a lot about the connections between natural processes and human activities. In the process, she was repeatedly confronted with the global effects of climate change and studied the topic in depth. Ilona gained her first experience in environmental education during an internship in the Swiss National Park. In her Master’s thesis, she looked at the impact of the climate strike movement on the environmental awareness and behaviour of young people in Zurich. Ilona also completed her teaching diploma for Matura schools and has taught at various grammar schools for the past two years. Ilona has been accompanying the Climate School team as project manager since June 2022.
How do children develop an awareness of their environment?
For several years, Dietmar has been bringing the topics of energy+climate and waste+consumption into classrooms as an environmental teacher for Pusch. At the same time, he continues to develop the educational activities in the climate school team. Didactically, his experience from several years of leading Technorama workshops and slam lectures helps him. From a technical point of view, the physicist with a doctorate in solar cells has a broad background. Because it is important to him to reach the heads and the hearts.
After her Bachelor’s degree in International Management at the ZHAW in Winterthur, Angela worked for a long time in the education sector designing international continuing education modules. In 2015, she decided to travel to Africa and Southeast Asia. Far from Western society, she was directly confronted with the consequences of climate change and the overuse of natural resources. These experiences strengthened Angela’s commitment to nature and sustainability with her economic background. She completed an agricultural internship on an organic farm in Seuzach. Before starting as a project manager for “Every Cell Counts” (JZZ), she worked for a Swiss foundation for the implementation of sustainable agricultural projects in Côte d’Ivoire.
Thomas Fedrizzi completed an apprenticeship as a civil engineer and draftsman, obtained the Matura on the second educational path KME to become a teacher, performed various activities and foreign assignments in plant construction and development cooperation; completed an ETH degree in cultural and environmental engineering, was managing director in a solar company, completed a postgraduate degree in corporate finance; is chief financial officer in Swiss SMEs. Thomas Fedrizzi is the initiator and co-founder of the ECC project – from which the Climate School program emerged – and continues to work on a dedicated volunteer basis as a mentor and coach in the project team.

Fabio is one of the biggest Swiss influencers with several hundred thousand followers. His landscape photography inspires people worldwide. He grew up in Thurgau; after his apprenticeship at a bank, he is now an independent photographer & influencer, where he can indulge in his love of nature and hiking.
Nina grew up in Bern and across the pond (Palo Alto and Ann Arbor). She attended the Comart School of Movement Acting in Zurich, after which she made a foray into socio-cultural animation at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Central Switzerland. For the past decade, she has been touring hospitals in Switzerland as Dr. PönK on behalf of the Théodora Foundation. Nina lives with her family in Bern in a four times over male-dominated household. Now she finds her way in cabaret. She shone and failed in the cabaret casting Olten 2020 in the final.
Felix Keller has been working as a glaciologist on the topics of permafrost, glaciers and lake ice since 1985. Soon he also became interested in specialised didactics in the environmental field and in 2005 received a lectureship in environmental didactics at ETH Zurich. Since 2015, he has been working on securing glacier masses with meltwater recycling, which could secure the existential water supply for large parts of the population in dry mountain regions in the Himalayas and the Andes. In addition to his family with three grown-up children, the violin plays an important role in his life, which he repeatedly makes sound in «ice-cold» places.
Urban holds a doctorate in economics and gained his professional experience mainly in institutional asset management, including 14 years in a senior position at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co (GMO). Today, he is a passionate volunteer at MYBLUEPLANET and serves on two boards of directors, among others.
Daniel Lüscher’s heart beats for his family, climate protection and the blue planet. Growing up in the Appenzell region, he studied electrical engineering EurEta and industrial engineering SVTS in St. Gallen, ultimately to realise his childhood dream of becoming a pilot. As an airline pilot with Swissair and Swiss, he saw the beauty of the blue planet during his professional life – but also its vulnerability. In 2007, he realised that it was high time to act – which is why he founded the climate protection movement MYBLUEPLANET. Today, as president of MYBLUEPLANET, he is still passionately committed to climate protection and works part-time as a captain at WestAtlantic. Daniel Lüscher lives in Winterthur with his wife and daughter.

Studied environmental sciences at the ETH Zurich. Worked for many years as an environmental consultant at Carbotech AG in Basel, specialising in life cycle assessment, CO2 balances and surveys on synthetic greenhouse gases. Review of CO2 balances for myclimate. Cornelia also supports us on a voluntary basis.
Marie-Claire Graf is a student and committed youth advocate for sustainable development and ambitious climate goals. She is a co-founder of the Swiss climate strike movement and various sustainability projects, including Sustainability Week Switzerland and its international counterpart. She participated in the climate summit in New York as the Swiss Youth Climate Champion of the United Nations and was a member of the Swiss delegation to the 25th World Climate Conference. Her goal is to inspire and empower youth to take meaningful, impactful and positive actions to create momentum for change. She initiated and leads several associations in the fields of climate action, sustainable development, youth and women empowerment and education. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and sailing.

Growing up in Appenzell, spending her early childhood mainly in the forest and later working for the cantonal tourism association for many years, inevitably opens her heart and eyes to the beauty and fascination of nature.
